We’ve seen a fair few debates on the web lately on the subject of contest formats. While the “pro cables” and the “anti air tricks” battle it out with somewhat solid arguments, well time doesn’t care, it just keeps on rolling… Yep, the contest season is already here ! With Wake Games, FISE, Wake the Line etc, pro riders are catching planes, standing on podiums, winning cash prizes, partying, making chance encounters…What a great life! So here at Unleashed we don’t really give a damn about which is the right contest format, all we care about is that riders continue to progress, that wakeparks continue to flourish all over the world, that the industry continues to expand, and that contests continue to attract the maximum amount of fans…Let’s wait and see what this new season has to offer, but in the meantime, sit back and enjoy issue 54 of Unleashed Wake Mag!
