COVID-19 TESTING SERVICES UPDATES UNO and UNMC leadership have developed a new offcampus option for providing COVID-19 testing services for UNO and UNMC employees and students and their family members. This service is provided in addition to on-campus testing sites available to students. Check online for timely announcements throughout the semester.

Testing is free for UNO students, faculty, and staff and may be covered by insurance for family and household members.
Students can schedule an appointment for free, oncampus COVID testing online. Parking is available across the street in Lot 14.

CELBRATE BLACK HISTORY MONTH Every year, UNO’s Office of Multicultural Affairs commemorates Black History Month with events and educational opportunities rooted in the African American experience, both current and historical reflection. This year’s celebrations will look different due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the meaning behind each event will continue to honor the Black community.

Film Screening: John Lewis: “Good Trouble” Mavericks have the opportunity to watch this film, described as, “An intimate account of legendary U.S. Representative John Lewis’ life, legacy and more than 60 years of extraordinary activism.”
UNO’s Homecoming celebration is traditionally scheduled during the fall semester at the beginning of the Maverick Hockey season. In order to keep campus as safe and healthy as possible amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Homecoming was postponed until February 2021.
Heart of Omaha: Black History Month Food Tour
Students can explore Omaha’s most historic and diverse neighborhoods one bite at a time! A MavCard or NUID grants a free tasty treat at each one of the following restaurants.
