Bring the Sun Home Lucia Gotti Venturato Lucia Gotti Venturato is the producer of the film. She is president and founder of ‘Sun Moon’, a nonprofit organization formed in 2006 with the goal to create a bridge of understanding, dialogue and a search for common ground between different civilizations. The main activity of the association is the organization of the Festival of the Sun Moon documentaries, celebrating its eleventh edition this year. Ms. Venturato holds a degree in Law.

Antonella Santilli Valentina Santilli joined Enel in 2004, and after having been in charge of External Relations for Enel Green Power Chile and the Andean countries, she is currently Head of Sustainability of Enel Green Power. Previously, Ms. Santilli worked for different companies (Ketchum PR, Hill & Knowlton, Wind) in communications and human resources. She graduated from Paris IV Sorbonne in Philosophy and received her Masters in Industrial Relations from the London School of Economics.

Thierry Lucas Thierry Lucas is currently coordinating the Biodiversity and Ecosystems Management subprogramme at the United Nations Environment Programme’s (UNEP) Regional Office for Europe. Mr Lucas has over 19 years of technical and management experience with the UN, including expertise in Africa and Asia. Before working for UNEP, Mr. Lucas was the project manager of an adolescent health programme in Asia of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) from 2003 to 2007. He holds a degree in Engineering.

Caroline Petit Caroline Petit is the Deputy Director of the UN Regional Information Centre (UNRIC) and chairs the UN Communication Group composed of 26 UN agencies. Before joining UNRIC, she worked as the Head of the Strategic Partnerships Unit at UN Headquarters for 12 years. Within the European Commission (EU Media Programme), film institutions in London and Copenhagen and the UN, she has over 25 years of international experience in communications, strategic partnerships and public information campaigns working out of four countries.

THE INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF LIGHT IYL 2015 The International Year of Light (IYL) is a global initiative which will highlight the importance of light and optical technologies, for the future and for the development of society. It is a unique opportunity to inspire, educate, and connect on a global scale. This International Year will bring together many different stakeholders including scientific societies and unions, educational institutions, technology platforms, non-profit organizations and private sector partners.

UPCOMING EVENTS The first official event marking the International Year of Light was the Opening Ceremony held at UNESCO HQ in Paris over 19-20 January 2015. This was the beginning of a year-long series of activities all over the world. The following events celebrating IYL2015 will be taking place in Europe: 
