Events Guide n Lt Col James Porter will be giving a talk titled ‘Custer’s Last Stand’ in aid of The Keep Military Museum. In the talk he explores the background to the Indian Wars in the USA, the personality of Gen George Armstrong Custer, the campaign and the Battle of The Little Big Horn in June 1876 in which Custer and hundreds of his men died. The talk, which last about 50 minutes, will be given on Wednesday February 23 at 6pm on the internet via Zoom. There is a charge of £5 which goes entirely to The Keep. Please note that the Zoom talk will be recorded and so anyone unable to watch it live can request a copy of the recording to be emailed to them.
