Disabled Students’ Allowances and Dependants’ Grants

Additional help is available for students with a disability (Disabled Students’ Allowances), or students who have children or an adult who depends on them financially (Dependants’ Grants).

Advice and Guidance

If you are a student with special circumstances, you may find it helpful to discuss your financial arrangements with our Wellbeing Advisers in our Wellbeing and Mental Health team, who may be able to suggest ways you can get financial help.

Financial Assistance Fund

If you get into financial difficulty or find yourself unable to cover costs while completing your course, you may be eligible for financial help from our Financial Assistance Fund. For more information, please visit: www.chester.ac.uk/additional-financial-help
