BIOGRAPHIES
Adrian Davis holds an MA from the University of Saint Thomas, and a BM from the University of Memphis. He is a doctoral student at the University of Minnesota. He was a Grammy Educator of the Year quarterfinalist in 2014, 2016, and 2018, and a 2017 MN Teacher of the Year finalist.
Alex Rack is a masters student at the University of Minnesota studying choral conducting. He studied at Macalester College (BS ‘16) while conducting the Macalester Chorale. Alex is both a conductor and the bass section leader for the Twin Cities Catholic Chorale. He is the founding director of the Minneapolis Madrigal Singers.
The School of Music, a unit of the College of Liberal Arts, is a leading institution for the education of successful performers, composers, teachers, administrators, and scholars. The School interacts with the larger university and Twin Cities communities through classes, participatory performing opportunities, community engagement activities, and more than 400 public performances each year.
