Betsy McCann is the assistant director of bands and director of athletic bands at the University of Minnesota, where she directs the Marching Band and University Band, teaches conducting, and administers the Athletic Band program. McCann earned degrees from the University of Minnesota and Northwestern University and is active as a guest conductor and clinician.

Preston Weber is a first-year wind conducting master’s student at the University of Minnesota. After graduating with a bachelor of music education from the University of Minnesota, he taught band and orchestra at Hill-Murray School in Maplewood, MN and conducted the Crosstown Community Band in Minneapolis. He lives in Roseville with his daughter and his wife, Olivia, a doctor of psychology candidate.
