Welcome to the University of Gloucestershire Our open event is designed to inform and inspire you, allow you to investigate our range of health courses and flexible modes of study available to you, and discover the benefits of further study. With an excellent reputation for teaching and research, our staff are passionate about their subject areas.

Course sessions
Meet your course leader and discuss the course on a 1-to-1 or small group basis. Room information will be provided on the day and our student ambassadors will show you the way.
3.30 - 4.00pm
Find out more
A chance to take a campus tour with one of our current students or chat with our student support staff about anything from fees and funding to accommodation.

MSc Advanced Clinical Practice
MA or MSc by Research/MRes/PhD Allied Health Professions and MA or MSc by Research/MRes/PhD Nursing
This programme enables experienced healthcare professionals to acquire and develop the skills and knowledge inherent to the core capabilities and specialist competencies across the four pillars of Advanced Clinical Practice: clinical practice, leadership and management, education and research.
With a wide range of staff expertise in nursing, allied health professionals, social work and social care, the team is able to supervise research across a range of subject areas, tailored to your discipline.
MSc Advanced Professional Practice The MSc Advanced Professional Practice (APP) runs parallel to the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) and has been designed to meet the academic and clinical development needs of practitioners from a range of health and allied health professions. Completion will develop in-depth knowledge and expertise required for contemporary health and social care.

Independent and Supplementary Prescribing Certificate in Professional Studies (NMC Award) Level 7 This course aims to equip Advanced Paramedics, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Therapeutic Radiographers, Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors with the skills and competencies required to be able to prescribe medication safely, appropriately and cost effectively.
