MOVE IN (RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS ONLY)

Saturday 9am-4pm | Sunday 9am-Noon| DeRosa University Center Ballroom

MANDATORY EVENT

Check in at the DeRosa University Center where you will pick up your Pacific ID card and room key. You will need your Pacific ID card for the dining hall and access to your residence. Move-in time will be assigned by the Housing office.

NEW STUDENT AND FAMILY ORIENTATION CHECK IN (NEW UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS ONLY)

Saturday 9am–4pm | Sunday 9am–Noon | DeRosa University Center Ballroom

All incoming undergraduate students and registered family members attending Orientation with their students can check in early and pick up their Orientation materials. You will receive your name tag, Orientation group information and instructions that you will need throughout the Orientation program.

After moving into your residence hall, students and families are invited to come check out vendors from all over Stockton who are here to share their services and welcome you.

POOL PARTY AND GAMES WITH RESIDENTIAL LIFE (STUDENTS ONLY)

6–8pm | Calaveras Hall and Townhouse

Pools

Come out and enjoy your first night on campus with a pool party hosted by the Residential Life and Housing (RLH) team! Meet RLH staff, Resident Assistants (RAs) and other students from your residential community.

PARENT AND FAMILY RECEPTION (FAMILIES AND GUESTS ONLY)

6–7:30pm | President’s Backyard

Mingle with other parents and meet Pacific Leadership at this special reception at the home of President Christopher Callahan and First Lady Jean Callahan.

OPEN REC BASKETBALL AND VOLLEYBALL

6:30pm-11pm | Janssen-Lagorio Gym

Get ready for some fun-fueled and friendly competition between your fellow Tigers!

Following the meetand-greet sessions, stay and connect with additional Student Life departments.

All incoming students will join their Orientation groups. You will meet your Orientation leaders who will guide you through the Orientation experience and answer any questions. Students will then come together for an incoming class photo

PRESIDENT’S WELCOME RECEPTION

5–7pm | Knoles Lawn

President Christopher Callahan welcomes all new students and their families to University of the Pacific during this opening ceremony. Note: Families not participating in Orientation should take time to say goodbye to their students following the end of the reception.

COMMUTER STUDENT WELCOME MEETING

7–8pm | Elbert Covell Hall

Come meet other commuters and discuss topics around commuting to campus.

OPENING BUILDING MEETINGS (RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS ONLY)

8–9pm | Residence Halls

Meet your new neighbors and learn about your residential community with RLH staff and RAs.
