Angela and Paul Ward’s Story
Angela Ward’s long term relationship with Keller Williams Southwest (KWSW) agent Sharon Parker began with a cold call. “We go way back to December of 2018,” says Angela. “Back then, I had been pondering selling my first home, but I wasn’t quite sure. Sharon called, and we discussed how people were buying in my area. She asked if I was interested in making a profit. We set a time to meet, and Sharon came to look at my house. I was impressed. Sharon is thorough, friendly, reliable, and honest…which is really important in the real estate industry. We sold that home, and from there, our relationship has evolved.”
When Angela became engaged to Paul, Sharon helped sell Paul’s home. After the couple got

married, Sharon helped Angela and Paul buy their new home together. To date, Sharon has helped Paul and Angela buy and sell more than 10 properties. Angela says, “We’ve purchased townhomes, downtown condominiums, and other projects using Sharon’s services. We remodel them, then Sharon helps us sell them. Sharon is extremely dependable. We don’t have to worry if she’s on our side. When it comes to negotiating, we know she will fight for us. Sharon’s also creative. If one thing doesn’t work, she tries another method. Sharon gets the deal done.”
“I’ve recommended Sharon many times,” continues Angela. “She’s so knowledgeable. Recently, an acquaintance was having issues with her home. She wanted to protect it from foreclosure. Sharon was able to walk her through it and assist her. Sharon’s tenacity and passion for what she does is reflected in her work ethic and the level of service she provides. She’s great!”

Day in, day out, Sugar Land Fire, EMS, and the Sugar Land Police Department come together to serve our community. In the past, we have supported the courageous efforts of these organizations through two successful fundraisers: Back the Blue and the Firefighters Gala. This year, these popular events are merging into one, joint fundraiser: Red & Blue United.
Hosted by The Finest & Bravest Foundation of Sugar Land–a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization formed to raise awareness and support for all of Sugar Land’s first responders–this first Red & Blue United event begins the future legacy of Sugar Land’s continued mission of honoring the brave men and women who serve and save our community every day. Co-chair Scott West says, “It’s one event, and it will be fabulous. While you only need to attend once, you can give twice as much!” The proceeds of this event are shared between the Sugar Land Fire and EMS and the Sugar Land Police departments to meet their specific requests, including funding life-saving equipment, educational opportunities, and meeting the urgent needs of our finest and bravest families. This very first Red & Blue United, co-chaired by KK and Scott West and Debbie and Marvin
Marcell, will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Smart Financial Centre. The evening kicks off with a sponsor dinner and cocktails, followed by a benefit concert by an amazing Texas artist. It’s sure to be a boot-scootin’ good time!
Scott says, “We are ONE people; we live ONE day at a time. Our community is protected by an amazing group of women and men in the Sugar Land Fire and Police departments— UNITED AS ONE. Please don’t miss the opportunity to honor this UNITED GROUP and be a part of this amazing event: RED & BLUE UNITED. We’ll see you there!”
