EXPECT IT ALL AT UPEI
CANADA'S EDUCATION DESTINATION The UPEI experience is a nuanced one. It’s one that is richer than you can expect at many other universities. What’s interesting about the range of experiences you can expect is that many are, on the surface, opposites of each other. For example, you’ll be studying in a place that is infused with a laid-back island culture, yet you’ll also
be challenged with rigorous coursework. What an interesting dynamic—at UPEI, your education, your experience, is a series of dichotomies. UPEI offers the best of both worlds!
see why it’s completely different from the other universities on your shortlist. At UPEI, you can expect it all!

PEI FACTS
PEI: GREAT THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGES Prince Edward Island may be Canada’s smallest province, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in heart! PEI is known for its red sandy coastline, its green rolling hills, and its reputation as a culinary and cultural destination. The UPEI campus is located in the city of Charlottetown, the vibrant and beautiful provincial capital of Prince Edward Island. Charlottetown has all the amenities you could want and find in a larger city, including great restaurants, shops, and entertainment. It is known for being a safe city that offers hospitality and a real sense of “home away from home.”

With our supportive learning environment, the emphasis we place on interactive teaching and learning combined with a lower student-faculty ratio, students enjoy a more personalized learning experience and easier access to assistance outside of class time.
Co-operative education provides realworld learning opportunities in several disciplines including physics, biology, chemistry, economics, and through the Applied Communication, Leadership and Culture program. There are also workstudy options in other programs. For details, visit
