The only way we truly solve problems is to create our way out of them. A lively debate is important, but ultimately design is about where the rubber hits the road.

hen you ask one of us what occurred during our time at HustleandPlay, the only word that comes to mind is magic. I am utilizing that specific word for multiple instance but specifically because the experience is one that must be lived.
We came to build a table but we left with so much more and for the sake of the experience i hope you understand why we are omitting details. The diversity, experience, and mind-set of each individual that took part in building this table was essential. We pushed, we pulled and ultimately we progressed. Our diets, sleep cycles, and boundaries were non-existent. There were no parameters other than time. We only saw implementation, pro-to-typing, and results. HustleandPlay is an ecosystem were everything is possible; two phrases seemed to echo through out the experience,
“How can we do it?” and “Let’s try it.” Failure was welcomed, not because we wanted to fail but most importantly because we needed to succeed. There was no option that we did not explore. This weekend held an incredible design retreat with great friends and proved once more that life is anything but zero sum - and that design is about creation.
“we thought the end product was going to be external [the table], which it was, partially. we were so delightfully surprised to acknowledge that it was predominantly internal. kevinrustagi, founder: hustleandplay
