About Us Urbane Sophisticate is the digital collegiate lifestyle magazine that aims to feature thought-provoking, interesting people who are passionate, innovative, have taken risks, and who in some given time will change the way the world works. It is urbane, sophisticated, and acts as a stepping stone toward a professional career. Part of the magazine’s mission is to act as a showcase for individual talent; a place that can help sling shot an individual’s career forward. This is a publication written by the reader, none of our writers are professional journalists—they are the crème de la crème at what they do at their respective universities. The magazine is extremely selective when selecting the people to highlight. Housed in Harvard University’s Innovation Lab, digital lifestyle magazine Urbane Sophisticate aims at “giving tomorrow’s future a voice today.” Gathering selective stories from millennial generation around the world, the magazine showcases phenomenal people with extraordinary talent, as well as displaying new ad technology that will revolutionize the digital advertising industry. Urban Sophisticate’s first issue launched Jan 1st, 2012 and is themed “Innovation”. It will be a monthly publication, with a different theme each month. The topics covered will be arts and culture, finance, lifestyle, philanthropy, politics, academia, along with monthly columns. The stories showcased will be by talented introspective Generation Y from top universities all around the world.
