VARIATIONS OF THE COVID-19 VACCINE

 We all want to get registered and go to a Covid-19 vaccine clinic Hawaii to get vaccinated as soon as possible. The truth of the matter is getting vaccinated can be difficult. Being well informed about the vaccines is even harder.  Once you have read this, you will go away with an understanding of the varying vaccinations and how they benefit you and your community.

Pfizer Vaccine  The Pfizer vaccine was created in cooperation with BioNTech to produce a vaccine that is 95% effective. The Pfizer vaccine also known as BNT162b2 is an mRNA vaccine.  It uses the material from the virus to teach the body how to defend against it.  It helps cells make proteins that are harmless but similar to the virus.

 When the body takes note of the unwanted protein it learns to kill it.  The vaccine will recognize it going forward so that if the real virus shows up in your body it can be fought.  This vaccine requires two doses 21 days apart. The primary side effect of the shot includes tiredness, headache, muscle pain, chills, fever, and nausea.

 Most of the side effects were mild to moderate. They are slightly more common after the second dose.  It is common for places like the Covid-19 vaccine clinic in Pearl City.  As more people get vaccinated, the CDC is continuing its research.

Moderna Vaccine  The Moderna vaccine, or mRNA-1273, is similar to the Pfizer one.  They are both mRNA vaccines which means that they work in nearly the same way. This vaccine is 94.1% effective.  It also requires two doses but they should be taken 28 days apart.

 Everything else about this particular vaccine is nearly identical.  Though these vaccines are similar, they are not the same.  Be sure to get the same type of vaccine when you go to a Covid-19 vaccine clinic in Hawaii. They should not get intermingled.

Johnson & Johnson Janssen Vaccine

 The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is also called JNJ-78436735.  This is the latest vaccine to be developed.  It has an effectiveness of 66.3%.  This type of vaccine is called a viral vector.

 What this does is adds a modified version of a similar virus.  This is so that T-lymphocytes and B-lymphocytes from the immune system will remember how to fight it.  This vaccine only needs a single shot. You do not have to make a trip out to the Covid-19 vaccine clinic Pearl City more than once.

 The Johnson and Johnson vaccine is particularly good at preventing hospitalization and death for those who still get infected.  It was also especially effective for 2 weeks following the vaccine.  There are continuous studies from the CDC to ensure the safety of the vaccine.

More Information  There are some commonalities with all the differing types of Covid-19 vaccines. The first is that they have gone through a rigorous testing phase before going to the public.  They all have similar side effects though at varying degrees. There are no eggs, latex, and preservatives. If you have concerns or allergies feel free to visit Information about COVID-19 Vaccines for People with Al lergies | CDC
