Nest-Building For Beginners I recently moved in with my girlfriend. I’ve never lived with just a girl before, which I guess means I am now officially a grown-up.

by Chris Russell

This is all very exciting, and so far it’s proving to be completely lovely. We have a great little place in London with a garden and a breakfast bar, and we’re cultivating our own private scene of domestic bliss. But I will say this - things change when you progress from the world of house-sharing to the world of co-habitation. We had friends round to the QHZ SODFH IRU WKH Ă€UVW WLPH ODVW night, and while I was giving WKHP WKH RIĂ€FLDO WRXU RQH asked: “So how have things changed now you’re living with your girlfriend?â€? I didn’t need to say anything - I just pointed to the bottle of Lemon Blossom & White Rose luxury handwash by the sink. Until I moved in with my girlfriend, I hadn’t been especially aware of a nascent nesting instinct in her. But it turns out said instinct was merely lying dormant, like a volcano, or a snoozing puma, because the minute we set foot through the door, the beast was unleashed. 7KH KRXVH EHJDQ WR Ă€OO XS with knick-knacks and candles and posh crisps and carafes. We have glass vases full of champagne corks, and our pasta is all in jars. There are four hundred different types RI RLO E\ WKH KRE IURP WUXIĂ H and ground-nut to extra virgin and garlic-infused. A few

6

days into our tenancy I found my girlfriend in the kitchen, scrolling through an iPhone app with a wild look in her eyes. ‘Are you OK?’ I think her hands might actually have been shaking. ‘I can’t... stop... buying... tea towels.’ And this was true. We now have an army of those novelty tea towels with London place names written on them, and she is also threatening to invest in a set of matching cushions. Last weekend I found out how much cushions cost, and let’s just say that you shouldn’t spend that amount of a money on a single item for your house unless it’s your ACTUAL HOUSE. The other thing is slate coasters. We have slate coasters now. And although I worry that slate coasters will look to future generations the way orange and brown furniture looked to mine, I am rather fond of them. I like to imagine that viking warriors - were they the sort to worry about leaving rings on their antique tables - would have used slate FRDVWHUV IRU WKHLU Ă DJRQV RI beer, although of course they’d probably have made them themselves by biting chunks off cliff-edges, as opposed to buying them from Oliver Bonas like we did. But anyway,

I digress. My girlfriend bought the coasters in question, and positioned them neatly on the faux-country wooden tray with the French writing on it, next to the whisky tumblers. They were wrapped up in brown string, which looked rather fetching, but when I made a move to unwrap them I was instructed that now was not the time for unwrapping the slate coasters. I was then informed that while the point at which it was okay to untie the coasters would one day be upon us, advance knowledge of this date would not be provided to me. It would just suddenly happen, much like the second coming of Christ. The coasters have, incidentally, now been set free, so you really must come over for a cuppa sometime. We’re working on a medley of tartan cushions that’ll blow your mind... Chris is a freelance writer and musician with internationallyrenowned rock band The Lightyears. ewark Academy is producing very confident and impressive students, and very good results, beating all GCSE predictions this year. This is certainly a good way of measuring whether to send your child to any school. But it’s not the only measure of a Schools success. One of the most impressive things about a school is how they engage with their students

and how the students grow pastorally. Newark Academy is excelling in this area. The students have tangible pride in the reinvigorated School, - Karine Jasper (Principal) and her team have rejuvenated the tired old buildings and made essential repairs to her students advantage. Simple things, such as every door displays a sign stating “Mr ….. is reading…..” – and the inspirational quotes on the outside walls of buildings, become

Use Locally - Issue 7 November 2013 discussion points for students to the highly accessible teachers. The open door policy extends right up to Karine, where students and staff will find their opinions being sought. There is a real spirit of community and cooperation at the School. Mrs Jasper stated that the last year has been “The journey of my life” and there is clearly a rapport between the students and the Principal. This extends to many of the staff, several of whom run after school clubs, giving up their own time to do so. Whilst timetabled lessons run from 8.50am to 3.15pm, the school is open from 8am till 5.30pm, giving access to the library, and students can breakfast together. Even members of staff eat in the café.

& pupils, and the commitment on both sides is strong.

Karine and her team have experience in the design and building of a new school, and relocation of the school. This knowledge will allow a smooth transition into the new £20 million, 3 storey superschool. The diggers arrive in June 2014, and the planned occupation of the new build happens in January 2016.

Karine Jasper’s vision for the school is that it provides an environment that is big enough to offer a wide choice of curriculum, but small enough to have a family feel, family’s being the house system which have also been reintroduced. School is there to train students to what they need, not necessarily what they want – a very important distinction.

Promising plans are already in effect, from the newly designed uniforms (given free to all new students), free bus transport around the locality, social areas outside for students to sit together, a new Heads of Year system, a newly designed logo and a buddy system of year 8 students for all new year 7 arrivals in their important first year at “big” school.

Challenge days also feature on the calendar, these are days where each year group gets to grip with meaty and sometimes uncomfortable age appropriate subjects such as Cyber bullying, Finance skills, Effective team working, and Tackling problems and improving resilience for learning.

These are some of the changes brought in, but how can you really turn around an entire culture? The biggest thing I heard over and over from the students is that they feel heard, their opinion matters, they have a say in the running of the school, and importantly, things are actioned. Starting with the Year 7 teambuilding camping trip to Walesby, allowing the children to bond with each other and get to know the teachers, moving on to year 8’s taking on the responsibility of junior prefects and buddies for y7s, to the electronically recorded ‘Sleuth” reward system, which rewards all children for good behavior, even the children who behave well normally (and are often forgotten about in other schools), up to and including sixth form. There is an expectation that children arrive at school “ready to learn” and that the teachers arrive at school “ready to teach” This culture provides a deliberate agreement between staff 10

Karine has high expectations of her students & the new leadership team, and they are rising to the challenge. One of the big events the students are working on this year is the school production of “Oh What a Lovely War” being performed in 2 venues, Newark of course, and also in Ypres, timed to coincide with the 100 year anniversary celebrations of WW1. Students can also take part in the World Challenge, the 2015 trip taking them to Thailand, to experience a different culture. This could be a life changing experience. Above all the overriding atmosphere at Newark Academy is enthusiasm and pride in the school; I met with 3 members of the student council, Christopher Rollin, Bradley Smart, and Chloe Ellerby. The last word goes to them “Newark Academy is a place where we all have the chance to be the smart people” I think that is praise indeed.

News from Lancaster Grange It has been an extremely busy few weeks for Lancaster Grange care home since our opening in early August. From our VIP opening on the 17th September to our Open Weekend complete with fly past on the following Saturday, our doors have been open and we have welcomed many new and now returning visitors to the home. Our first residents have now settled into the home and we have also been able to offer respite or short stays for several families - who have all enjoyed their time with us and we are looking forward to seeing again over the coming months. Prior to the home opening we were lucky enough work with Steve Pask from Newark College and several of his Construction and Engineering students who approached the home regarding a project to produce a Weather Vane, which you may well have now seen when driving past the home. Based on the Lancaster Bomber this fantastic Vane has certainly since created some interest. This week we were able to thank Steve

and Jeanette from the college by presenting them with a donation for the College and an Annual Student Award for Outstanding Achievement. We are hoping to work with the team on future projects in our home. Situated on the edge of Fernwood, we offer a warm welcome in a homely and comfortable atmosphere. Amanda and the team are currently developing a great calendar of social activities to cater for all tastes, giving residents the opportunity to meet friends and discover new interests together. Many of these will be open to the community and we are starting with the launch of our Coffee Mornings from 10-12am on every first Thursday of the month. Why not come and join us on Thursday 7th

November for refreshments and entertainment? Lancaster Grange's surroundings and services are tailored to accommodate people requiring different types of care - from residential and nursing, to dedicated dementia care. Providing high-quality services in a first-class care setting is something we are proud of and we are already building a great reputation as can be seen from the recommendations that we are receiving. We are committed to providing the best possible care, promoting dignity, independence and choice and are happy to discuss the care choices and options available - familiarisation days or respite stays can be arranged so that interested individuals can see just what life at Lancaster Grange is like and our staff are always happy to help with this transition. At Lancaster Grange, as in many Barchester homes, dementia services are offered in a unique care environment called a Memory Lane community. The purposeful design encourages people living with dementia to lead a full and active life. The living space promotes interaction, for example, facilities such as life-skills kitchens and a laundry allow Memory Lane residents to continue to experience the familiarity of everyday household tasks like setting the table or baking. So if your needs or those of a relative or friend should change in relation to the levels of residential care or nursing required, there is now support and advice on hand locally to help you make informed decisions about the future. Caren Billingsley, General Manager at Lancaster Grange, has a wealth of experience in health and social care both as a qualified nurse and as a successful manager. Caren said: "The best way to find out about the care we provide is to come and visit us and get a good feel about what Lancaster Grange is all about and how we adapt care to meet your needs or those of a relative or friend. We aim to be fully engaged in community life in and around Newark and friends and family are welcomed at all times.

If you would like to take the opportunity to have a glimpse of what Lancaster Grange is all about, please contact Caren or Lisa on 01636 594300 or call in to find out more.

4N Works! Great Networking in Newark Are you looking for ways to grow your business, your contacts & your trusted list of suppliers? Then look no further than 4Networking in Newark. 4Networking Newark meets fortnightly at The Roman Way, just off the A1 & A46 roundabout, offering a great breakfast and great networking for local businesses. 4Networking, unlike some other breakfast networking groups, is relaxed and friendly – and as it doesn’t have an exclusivity of business sector, the freedom to collaborate and compare notes with others in your line of business far outweighs any so-called threat of being in the same room, and, with it’s fantastic Online Networking platform, it also gives you easy access to thousands of SME’s right across the UK 24/7 – a fantastic service for members. 4N members become ‘passporters’ – able to use their membership online and face to face at any of the 4N groups, of which there are 10 in a thirty mile radius of Newark alone!

Area Leader for the Newark group, and she says It’s great to hear the success stories that new members have through doing business with people they meet, like, know and trust – 4N not only provides a great environment for small businesses to grow, but also a social network to help break the isolation of running a business on your own’. Interested? Why not join the team for their next meetings in October? Portia Green, of Meerkat Telemarketing, Marketing Assistant for the group would also be delighted to see you – “4Networking is not just about business, it’s also about building relationships, and provides a great environment to support women in business too”. TO FIND OUT MORE, JUST CALL ONE OF THE TEAM, OR VISIT THE WEBSITE: Nathan Eaves - 01529 421 748 Portia Green - 01636 610794 Laurence Childs - 07501 043779 Sheena Whyatt – 07825 173901 www.4networking.biz/Events/Group/Newark

Group Leader Nathan Eaves, of Tactix for Business says “4N is a great way to build your business – you get the opportunity to have 3 business appointments at every meeting, with no pressure to bring referrals or be the only service provider in the room. 4N works, it really does’. Laurence Childs, Operations Assistant for the group agrees – “4N really does work - I took a lead from a fellow 4N member earlier this year and was able to help a small building firm employing about a dozen people with 5 office staff, they wanted to have their email and file storage moved to the cloud and have a new PC for their new office premises, a great referral that became great business for us’. 4Networking is a simple and effective membership organisation open to everyone – each meeting follows the same organised structure of open networking & three 10 minute 1-2-1 business appointments, and once you join, you have the freedom to network at any 4N meeting, anywhere, anytime. There is no pressure to bring visitors – in fact, 4N will reward you with free membership for every new visitor you bring along who decides to join – another great bonus of 4N membership.

What are Grandparents rights?

Grandparents do not have automatic rights to contact with their grandchild. However with the leave of the Court, they are able to make an application for contact and the Courts do recognise that they have a valuable role to play in the upbringing of the child. Therefore unless there is evidence to the contrary such as violence or abuse, usually the Courts will allow grandparents to see their grandchildren. Contact Orders If a grandparent has lost contact with their grandchild and wants to regain that contact, they have the right to apply for permission (leave) to apply for a Contact Order. This can happen if one of the child’s parents has died, or the parents have split up and contact not in place. If a grandparent applies and is successful then they have the ability to then apply for a Contact Order to see their grandchild. If the Contact Order is made, it will clearly set out the level of contact permitted e.g. visits, phone calls, letters etc. If a Contact Order isn’t successful, an option is to apply for "indirect contact" where you would be able to write to your grandchild, send birthday cards, Christmas cards etc. Residence Order In cases where a parent is unfit to look after a child, the Courts will always look to the wider family to see who can provide that support. In this instance, a grandparent would be able to apply for a Residence Order. This sets out where a child will live and who the primary carer will be. We can help Remember the child’s best interests are the most important thing to consider and a Court will only make a decision that is in the best interests of the child. With no cost to this service, you can ensure you are staying on the right side of HM Revenue and Customs so you can sleep easily. Business Gifts: Gifts to customers are allowable as long as: • The gift is an advert to your business, so includes your logo or literature somewhere – this must be on the gift and not just on the wrapping • The gift does not exceed £50 per individual per annum • The gift is NOT alcohol, tobacco or exchangeable vouchers Christmas Bonuses: Unfortunately Christmas bonuses to any employees are treated as additional salary and will therefore be subject to the usual PAYE and NI. However, HM Revenue and Customs have provided a concession to this – instead of providing a Christmas bonus you could gift your employees with a seasonal gift instead Events such as Bassetlaw Business Christmas Ball (https://www.facebook.com/BassetlawBusinessChristmasBall) are allowable; however other events may not be so being careful when choosing your Christmas party can be important! If you would like to speak to us with any queries you may have please contact Claire on 01777 712762 or Claire@focusaccounting.co.uk. Focus Accounting – where we focus on you!

Life Begins What kind of Christmas Shopper are you?

It’s that time of year again, when you start to make lists of the Christmas presents you need to buy for your nearest and dearest. We all approach our Christmas shopping in different ways, so see if you can spot the shopping technique that most resembles yours in the list below: 1. The Very, Very Early Bird You are the shopper who can be found cramming your basket full of cut-price wrapping paper, Christmas cards and toiletry gift sets in the January sales. Well done, Very Early Bird. You might save yourself a good deal of money, but will you remember where you’ve hidden all those cut-price goodies by next December? 2. The Last Minute Man <RX MXVW FDQ·W ÀQG WKH motivation to buy presents until three hours before the shops are due to close on Christmas Eve. Then you dash round the streets with a look of sheer panic on your face, desperately hoping that the items on your list are not out of stock.

Come on, Last Minute Shopper – you know you can do better, but deep inside you crave the adrenaline rush that comes from holding back till the very last moment. 3. The Smugly Organised Shopper It’s mid September and not only have you already compiled your gift list, you’ve SUREDEO\ SODFHG \RXU ÀUVW online order, for that ‘musthave’ new gadget that will be all the rage this Christmas. By the 1st December all your presents will be immaculately wrapped, labelled and stored in boxes under the bed. Organised Shopper, you are the envy of all your chaotically disorganised peers. But watch out - are you ready to face the bitter resentment of friends who shopped too late to get that ‘must-have’ gadget? 4. The Wishlister Do you remember the “Good Old Days” when Christmas presents were a surprise? When the mystery surrounding Christmas gifts led to a well-intentioned,

By Kate McLelland

communal impulse to pretend everything was lovely on the day (“Oooh, a hot water bottle cover - just what I needed!”)? Nowadays all recipients seem to do is mentally tick off gifts that they previously entered on their Amazon wishlist. Now there’s no need to spend time thinking about what your nearest and dearest would like, when all you need to do is follow an on-screen link and click a button. Dear Wishlister, while we understand your desire to buy something your friend or relative really wants, we’d like to see you use a little more imagination and effort this Christmas. 5. The Crafty Maker You’ve been watching too many Kirstie Allsopp shows on TV and you now believe that the way to show real love at Christmas is to give friends and family a gift that you have made yourself. I know, Crafty Maker: you can’t wait for the look of surprise on your family’s faces when they open their SUHVHQWV WR ÀQG VRPHWKLQJ that you have carefully crafted out of papier mache and driftwood, but please don’t be disappointed if their wan smiles of appreciation suggest that they would have preferred the latest video game. Do you recognise yourself in any of these descriptions? If so, don’t panic. Christmas a unique time of the year when the effort we make for family and friends is all-important. However you approach your Christmas shopping, it’s always the thought that counts.

Confetti – This custom started in pagan times when the newlywed couple were showered with grain as sign for fertility. The word confetti comes from the Italian word for sweets. Your Special Day Trends of 2014 As a planner I have an insight into the emerging trends within the wedding industry. Here are my top ten trends for Weddings in 2014 so far: • Unusual venues such as zoos and sports venues will be popular, adding quirkiness to the day. • Having a green or organic theme is proving to be increasingly popular, think about all the fun you could have foraging for pine cones for your place settings. • Thanks to the success of the Great Gatsby, the Art Deco or 1920s theme is set to make a big appearance. • Another historical period set to make an impact is a Rock and Roll based 1950s theme. • Romance is a timeless wedding theme but it is set to get a 21st Century twist. • With many brides getting inspiration from American weddings at the moment symbolism in the form of sand ceremonies Continued on page 24

Your Special Use Da y - Issue 7 November 2013 Locally looks to be hitting the British wedding scene in a big way. • One trend that has made a big impact on the catwalks this season for bridal wear is Monochrome, some designers have featured panels in black on their dresses. • The British new found love of all things handmade is also going to affect wedding dĂŠcor with more and more brides opting to hand make their decorations (or getting their planner, friends or family to do it!) • Monograms are going to be very popular, they allow the whole wedding to be ‘branded’ so that everything is personalised for the bride and groom. • Bright colours including pinks, purples and oranges are all going to work together to create a dramatic theme for many couples wishing to make a real statement.

Cafe Amore Brings To Life one of the oldest buildings in town CAFE AMORE (for the love of coffee) has taken Newark’s coffee-drinkers by storm since its opening. Whether you are drinking in or taking away, Cafe Amore, on the corner of Kirkgate and Middlegate, is a must for all coffee-lovers. Promising to deliver the best coffee in town, Cafe Amore is an independent chain now boasting its third shop. It offers an unrivalled range of coffee espresso drinks, speciality teas, blended juice, frappé and smoothies. There are more than 40 coffees and 30 teas in all. This passion all started three years ago with the launch of the independent coffee company at Caenby Corner in a former Little Chef site. The unit was transformed into the Cafe Amore brand, serving coffee and food for people on the go. It was such a success that the next unit was opened at Cromwell Services, on the A1 northbound, again bringing a former Little Chef to life. With its superb product and service approach, Cafe Amore offers a higher quality product and better quality service in an exceptional environment. The up-market interior and relaxed concept without a silly price tag reflects the company’s mission statement — to match people’s coffee shop expectations without the big price tag. There is delicious food from the main menu, such as homemade salmon fishcakes, bruschetta, and hot and cold sandwiches with a choice of ten breads from around the world. If panini is what you fancy, then you must try Cafe Amore with its 15 fillings, all handmade with bread baked on-site. Ready for breakfast? We are. From our full English to smoked salmon bagel we are open from 7.30am, to sit in or take-away, and all breakfast menus come with a free drink of your choice. There’s a hearty Pie and Mash Menu, all handmade, with more than ten pie varieties.

Cafe Amore cakes are hard to resist. From chocolate muffins to pistachio layer, beetroot and white chocolate, courgette and lime, chilli chocolate and fudge, all are handmade from the best ingredients. Ground Cover Ground cover plantings are a wonderful way to create gorgeous carpets of colour in your garden, whatever its size and wherever it’s located. But what’s so special about groundcover growing, when is it most useful and when should you start? by Pippa Greenwood The initial few months will take some effort, but once growing well, most ground cover planting needs little if any maintenance except perhaps a very occasional trim, some food and water in drier weather. It has a superbly smothering effect on the weeds, killing weedlings and deterring further weeds from appearing. The denser the groundcover planting, the better the effect. Autumn is a great time for planting. Trees, shrubs, climbers and herbaceous plants that go in to the ground at this time of year often establish extremely well as they have the luxury of enjoying the relatively warm and yet moist soil, a perfect place for new roots to grow out and establish rapidly. Make sure you invest a bit of time and effort in to the preparation. Clear the area of weeds, digging out all tough weeds completely if you can. Fork the soil over, removing debris such as large stones or buried rubbish and then fork in plenty of well-rotted manure or garden compost, and perhaps a little slow-release feed too. If you’re planting up a slope, it’s worth trying to secure the soil a little too, as all that preparation and weed clearing will have loosened the surface and made it prone to erosion. Once growing well the roots of the plants will help to secure the slope brilliantly, but in the

meantime, use landscape fabric pinned down onto the surface of the slope. Don’t be tempted to cram the plants in too closely. Given time they will form the desired effect if planted at the correct spacing. But if you fall in to the trap of planting them elbow to elbow, then they are more likely to become stressed and miserable, more prone to disease and will need thinning out. Make sure the plants are kept just moist at the roots until they’re well established and feed occasionally. By choosing varieties of plants which are recommended for use as groundcover you’ll be unlikely to have to do much if any pruning. So what should you choose to grow? Foliage that is attractive and interesting makes a wonderful groundcover planting and if you wish you can add a IHZ PRUH à DPER\DQW à RZHULQJ plants to the mixture too. By using plants with interestingly shaped leaves or variegated leaves your leafy planting will look even better. If you want a reasonable effect all year around, then select at least some of the plants you use from the evergreens. These may lose their leaves, but they do so gradually so you’ll never be left with totally bare soil. Great Shrubby Groundcover Ideas Heaths and Heathers, Cotoneaster horizontalis and

Cotoneaster microphyllus, Stephandra incise ‘Crispa’, groundcover roses eg the ‘Flower Carpet’ roses. Great Shade-Tolerant groundcover Ideas Sarcococca hookeriana var. humilis, Mahonia repens, Gaultheria procumbens, Hypericum calycinum, many hebes including Hebe pinguifolia, Euonymus fortune cultivars such as ‘Emerald n’Gold’, ‘Emerald Gaiety’ Herbaceous Ground Cover in Shadier Spots Sweet violets, pulmonaria (lungworts) eg the whiteĂ RZHUHG Âś6LVVLQJKXUVW¡ %XJOH (the ajugas eg Ajuga reptans ‘Burgundy Glow’), Lysimachia nummularia (Creeping Jenny), Lily-of-the-valley, Lamium ‘White Nancy’ and Lamium ‘Silver Beacon’, Bergenia Sunnier Groundcover Snow-in-summer, thymes, oregano, many of the sedums, chamomile. Visit Pippa’s website www. pippagreenwood.com for a great range of gardeningrelated Christmas gifts including stylish ‘Grow Your Own with Pippa Greenwood’ gift card, handmade pottery herb planters, recycled metal sculptures, Pippa’s favourite weeding tool, signed books and lots of seriously useful garden items.

Titan Containers TITAN Containers supplies domestic and commercial clients all over the East Midlands – and those customers have all got one thing in common... ... They all need more space. Sometimes a lot more space. With brand new containers to hire and buy, TITAN can handle any domestic or commercial requirement. Their customers may be moving house, de-cluttering, or expanding their business, so they use Titan’s containers to store treasured goods, stock and equipment. Now in their third decade in the UK, the container sale and rental business is growing and expanding. They’re one of the country’s big success stories. They’ve opened a number of new centres up and down the country in the last year. That’s great news for customers. As TITAN Director, Phil Brewer explains, “Obviously the more centres we have, the less our customers have to pay for delivery.”

for?” Phil ponders, “Everything!” And if you’re moving house, TITAN can give you a stress-free alternative to the usual removals process. Just hire a TITAN container instead. TITAN will deliver it for you. Then you can fill it at your own pace and in your own time. They’ll collect it when you’ve finished and store it safely back at their depot until you’re ready to have it re-delivered after your move. But TITAN’s containers aren’t just used for storage. They’ve been put to excellent use as changing rooms, offices and workshops too. Why do customers choose TITAN?

New self-store facility in the East Midlands TITAN has now expanded to the East Midlands. Phil tells us, “From our brand new centre in Asfordy, Melton Mowbray, we deliver containers throughout the East Midlands, using our own vehicles, including a brand new crane lorry. We already had a ‘third party’ depot in Walsall, So we knew we needed a centre specifically to cover business in the East Midlands. Our site at Melton Mowbray now lets us help customers in Leicestershire, Grantham Oakham, Nottingham, Newark and more.” The site is a self-store facility too, and provides a comprehensive range of containers for a variety of uses. “What are our containers used 42

TITAN makes hiring or buying a container genuinely affordable – with an exceptional price per space ratio. But there’s more to it than that. TITAN makes the whole process so easy. Their self-store customers have access to their container/s six days a week, in a safe, secure environment. Customer focus With demand for more storage options growing all the time, TITAN isn’t just here to fill that need. With a true dedication to their customers’ requirements, TITAN helps people and businesses manage their space, and expand and grow their business. Phil says, “We build new containers every month. So the supply really is inexhaustible. And because we use our own lorries, and we don’t use third party suppliers, we keep the costs down for our customers.”
