Localizing waste management to reduce pollution and cost from regional transportation networks. Allowing public access into infrastructural programs to increase awareness of waste issues, creating a public amenity and anticipating the increased densification of the city, where scarcity of ground-level space will prompt public spaces to continue to stratify. With the purpose of inspiring the user to make a change in their daily routines. 01.

Pratt Institute, M.Arch Program Fall 2019, Design 03: Urban Qualities & Materials Competition Entry, LAKA Architecture that reacts Role: Individual Work (GAUD Archived) Program: Mixed-use Residential Critic: Stephanie Bayard Achievement: Enlisted Final Critic at Large with Thom Mayne
The idea initially derived from the New York City demographics which showed that roughly 45 percent of people in Brooklyn live alone in various types of living conditions. Moreover, around one-third of the city’s population is single freelancers with creative occupations who need flexible working environments. Far from the sense of stable settlements with full living amenities, the demographic led to careful speculation about how people in this area or most of New York residents come and go temporarily for specific purposes.

Pratt Institute, M.Arch Program Spring 2019, Design 02: Urban : Interiorities & Contexts Role: Individual Work (GAUD Archived) Program: Public Landscape with Educational Institute Critic: Erich Schoenenberger
The project goal was to design learning environment specifically focused on investigating interiority and massing. Simultaneoulsy, the project was engaged with designing public landscape based on the site context. Architectural massing was conventionally understood as creating topological value within the site context. This project however focused more on interiority as one entire contextual massing

Pratt Institute, M.Arch Program Fall 2018, Design 01: Media & Method Role: Individual Work (GAUD Archived) Critic: Peter Macapia
A “proto-module” is a unit that is developed to make a “module.” The “module” is an architectural element that will be expanded and developed towards an architecture. The module is not a given fact nor a permanent condition. It is a starting point for constraints that apply to architectural specificity. In this studio, I’ve learn how to generate geometrical outputs from non-geometrical sources to eventually create a module. The research aims to ask what is geometry, what defines it, and how might it be produced from non-geometrical sources, such as algorithms and topology.
