For those of you intrepid enough to make it this far, be warned, it will steal a piece of your heart by the time you leave. ELIGIBILITY Essentially you need to be aged between 18 to 30 years and hold a passport from an eligible country for this visa. The New Zealand Working Holiday Visa is valid for one year and you can take up temporary, full time or casual work.

A significant difference between the Australia and New Zealand Visa Programmes is that the New Zealand Working Holiday Visa allows you to work with the same employer for the full 12 months. The Australian visa only allows you to work for the same employer for 6 months.
