The online masters in Music Education program is designed specifically for individuals who are currently teaching and are looking to gain their Master’s Degree in Music Education. The MME degree at Southern Miss will give you the tools to improve your teaching as well as give you the opportunity to examine learning theory in an in depth and meaningful way, relevant in music education today. The degree consists of 30 credit hours and a comprehensive exam. Classes are offered fully online fall, spring, and summer with special workshops available in the summer in such topics as conducting and curriculum development.
