The University of Southern Mississippi Symphony Orchestra has a rich tradition of providing our community and region with the highest quality in symphonic programming while focusing on the musical, academic and life successes of our students. The students in our orchestra come from all over the world to study with our excellent applied faculty and gain professional-level experience in our orchestra while honing their musical craft. Alumni from the Symphony Orchestra are performing in the finest orchestras in the world, teaching in the best universities in the world, and training and inspiring the next generation of musicians all over the world as public and private school music teachers.
