With over 22 years of experience building global brands, she has held key leadership roles at Walmart eCommerce, Johnson & Johnson, and Amazon. Joana has a unique outlook on life due to her parents surviving the Holocaust, and her talk will inspire women to embrace change, take risks, and be true to themselves in business and personal lives.
Sidni Shorter, Psy.D. | President and CEO – Utah Black Chamber of Commerce
Sidni L. Shorter, Psy.D. is the president and CEO of the Utah Black Chamber of Commerce, CEO of ExecuteNow!, and a fierce advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). She has developed programs for national clients that address disparities in access to affordable capital and investments for minority and women-led businesses. Sidni advocates, designs, and initiates DEI programs, plans, processes, workshops, and training for senior leaders, people managers, and staff that encourage learning, reflection, awareness, and understanding. She holds a doctorate in biblical psychology, two bachelor’s degrees in general studies and theology, and is pursuing an MBA.
