The UTRGV Wind Orchestra performs an eclectic variety of literature for winds and percussion. Conductor Saul Torres will lead the ensemble in a performance of music that includes John Philip Sousa’s “Esprit de Corps,” Michael Gandolfi’s "Vientos Y Tangos," Eric Whitacre’s "October," Philip Sparke’s "Dance Movements," Antonin Dvoark’s "The Slavonic Dances," and John Philip Sousa’s "Solid Men To The Front." || This concert is presented as part of the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) School of Music's concert series program, Patron of the Arts.
