Accomplishments at UVM: Voelkel received his fifth Rookie of the Week honor from the America East Conference this week, commending his season average of six points, five assists and two steals a game. Voelkel also leads the America East Conference in rebounding, with 10 rebounds a game.

Previous accomplishments: As a senior at Iona Prep High School, Voelkel averaged 19 points, 13 rebounds and four assists. He finished his high school career with 1,245 points, solidifying a spot for him in the Jordan Brand Classic Regional Game at Madison Square Garden — one of the most prestigious high school basketball games in the country — where he had five points, nine rebounds, seven assists and three steals.
