Drugs and alcohol Marijuana and drug related objects were confiscated on April 12 from a student in University Heights North and Christie Hall on April 7.

A person who was not a student was sent to detox from Wright Hall and charged with trespassing.

Theft Sneakers were stolen from a locker room in Patrick Gym on April 5.

An iPod was stolen at the Marché on April 12.

Disturbances

A storage room door was vandalized at Centennial Field on April 12.

Incidents between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. on April 16: Officer Bailey was called to assist with control crowds at the Southwick bus stop.

Some students were punching the bus and one girl jumped in front of the moving vehicle in order to get it to stop.

“One way or another, we are getting downtown,” one unknown male said.

Liquor Control picked up two intoxicated female students from downtown and brought them back to campus.

The resident advisors on duty at Harris Millis called the police, and Bailey and King calmed down the two girls, who were roommates, before sending them to bed.

A male coming from a murder mystery party was pulled over for speeding. He was wearing nothing but a trench coat and goggles.

“I was supposed to be the pool boy,” he said.

A student broke a window of the Phi Gamma Delta house by throwing a rock at it after he was asked by the fraternity to leave the premises.

Speaker of the Senate Claire Chevrier was hit in the face with a piece of cake after her executive report at the April 12 Student Goverment Association meeting.

Brian Reed, chair of the General Education Committee, talked to the Senate on general education progress on April 12 and asked for their support. The SGA approved a bill that supports the University’s desire to create a general education curriculum.

Next year’s proposed club budget was approved and totals $1,861,379.13.

A resolution expressing disapproval of the salary of the new business dean was proposed then tabled and will be discussed at the next SGA meeting.

The Senate reapproved a bill that gives $6,000 to the cycling club for a new trailer. Former Vice President David Maciewicz vetoed the same bill last week after the Senate had passed it.

VSTEP collected 1,600 signatures for their Resolution in Support of a Sustainable Beverage Future. This was needed for the SGA to vote on it as a formal resolution and the Senate passed the legislation.

The Senate did not pass a bill that would fund Blirpit, the bus tracking system, for the next academic year.
