Fall Means Football The UWAA has what you need to get Husky football action! We’ve got a big season planned, so visit UWalum.com/football for the all latest information. Cheer the Huskies to victory with your fellow Dawgs at viewing parties across the country. We’re holding a Friday-night Dawg Rally at Jillian’s Billiards Club in Seattle before the USC game. Fall Means Learning Looking to expand your horizons? With our online journal access, borrowing privileges at the UW Libraries and lectures on campus and across town, the UWAA is your home for lifelong learning. We’ve teamed up with Town Hall Seattle, Seattle Arts & Lectures and campus partners to bring you member discounts and early registration for lectures all over town. Whether you’re interested in hearing from national figures in the arts, science and public policy or the latest developments in engineering, nursing and other fields, we’ve got something for you.

MEMBER EVENTS Dawg Dash is All New Kick off Homecoming Week with the 27th annual Dawg Dash. This year’s 10k run and 5k run/walk feature a new start and finish line, and an entirely new route through the UW’s beautiful campus. It’s all in support of UW student scholarships, so visit dawgdash.com to find out more and sign up. Last year’s Dash—the largest ever—boasted more than 4,000 participants.

Husky Football Action Across the Country Can’t get to Seattle for the game? The UWAA has you covered. Our regional affiliates are holding viewing parties all over the country—there’s bound to be one near you. Are the Huskies traveling to your town? UWAA membership lets you get tickets in the visitor’s section at Pac-12 away games— a privilege usually reserved for season ticket holders. Lifelong Learning and Lectures The UWAA has a slate of lectures for anybody with a passion for knowledge. We’ve teamed up with the Graduate School to bring Dowell Myers to campus on Oct. 2, Gary Jacobsohn on Oct. 17, and Laurie Anderson on Oct. 19. The UW College of Engineering will explore “Tiny Solutions for Big Problems” in their 2012 lecture series, “Engineering Molecules,” on Oct. 16, Nov. 1 and Nov. 8.
