Geology Museum
The UW Geological Museum features a variety of displays to illustrate Wyoming’s past environments, highlighted by a 75-foot Apatosaurus (Brontosaurus) skeleton that dominates the museum’s exhibit hall.
Art Museum
The Art Museum offers a year-round source of education and entertainment. Special programs, lectures, openings, workshops, classes, and tours are held regularly. Admission to the museum is free.
Planetarium
The Harry C. Vaughan Planetarium is in the basement of the Physical Science building and hosts a variety of shows! Tickets are $5 for the public, and reservations are not required.

Dining
The University of Wyoming offers a variety of options located throughout campus for students, faculty, staff, and guests to enjoy a sit-down meal, a salad on the go or a cup of coffee on the way to class.
Washakie Dining Center
Washakie Dining Center is where you will be eating most of your meals. As a marketplace-style dining facility, Washakie houses multiple serving platforms and provides various options for every meal.

In addition to Washakie Dining Center, there are other locations across campus with various food options. However, please note that your conference meal plan is only valid at Washakie Dining Center.

Laundry
Each hall has laundry facilities available to those residing in that hall and are equipped with highly efficient front load washers and dryers.
Paying for Laundry
• Register and get the app at cleartoken.com or scan the QR code
• Open the app, select the washer or dryer number
• Enter the amount, press pay, and the machine will start its cycle
Laundry Cost
• Washer | $2.50 per load
• Dryer | $1.75 per load

Internet
While you are on campus, you will have access to the UWguest network. Users authenticate by entering their email address on a captive portal webpage. Once authenticated, users can access the public data. For more information or for support, visit uwyo.edu/infotech
Transportation
UW Transportation Services provides safe and convenient transportation around campus and the city of Laramie. There is no on-board fare to ride the UW transit systems.
The Express route is the fastest and most convenient way to get to campus without paying to park. Park in one of our Express lots at 15th and Spring Creek or 30th and Willett to catch a ride right to the Wyoming Union.
The Link route can get you around campus, to downtown, Planet Fitness, Walmart and more evert 20 minutes!
Summer hours are Monday - Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
SafeRide is an on-demand ride that can pick up and drop off anywhere in Laramie city limits on Friday and Saturday nights from 10:00 p.m.2:00 a.m. Just download the UWYO SafeRide app to request a ride!

Parking
UW Parking Regulations are enforced year round. If the event/camp does not provide you with a parking permit, you are welcome to purchase one on your own. Permits may be purchased online at www.uwyo.edu/tps or in our office located at 1602 E. Spring Creek Drive.
Available Permits:

Green Zone Permit | $20.50 per month
Purple Zone (remote) Permit | $2.75 per month

Half Acre Recreation & Wellness
Looking to have conference access to recreation opportunities and facility space for programming or special events while on campus this summer? Half Acre offers multiple options for access, and ability spaces for rentals and after hours use.
UW sponsored and/or registered conference groups, workshops, and seminars may utilize and access UW Campus Recreation facilities during their time on campus this summer.
Facility access can be purchased for single day, or the entirety of your conference or workshop for drop-in recreational opportunities. Drop-in facility access includes use of weight room and cardio equipment, multi-use gym and studio spaces, 38’ climbing wall, and indoor pool.
