5 Tips To Increase Muscular Endurance

1. Increase the rep count. Aiming for 15-20 reps for 3-4 sets will keep that rep count high and keep the muscles working longer.

2. Lower the weight. If you have a max squat of 200lbs, cut that weight by at least 50% to meet the higher rep goal.

3. Decrease rest time. No more 30-60 second rest times, aim for 15-30 second rests between sets.

4. Regress the exercise. If you can’t get to 15-20 reps on an exercise, make it easier to finish off. Lose the weight, change the range of motion to meet that number.

5. Active rest. Perform an easier exercise during your rest times; planks, wall sits, bodyweight squats, etc. to keep the muscles working.
