HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE Vail 路 Beaver Creek is the only location in North America to host three Championships - 1989, 1999 and 2015. The 2015 event is the fourth Championships ever held in the U.S. The Alpine World Ski Championships are the most significant winter sports and skiing event in the world, second only to the Winter Olympics.

EVENT VENUES 1.

Beaver Creek Race Stadium: 10 of the 11 Men’s & Ladies races occur here. Stadium consists of public viewing space, public grandstands (~3,500 seats) plus standing spectator platforms holding up to another 2,000 people, Platinum, Gold and Silver VIP venues; 2,100 people per day, International Sponsors and select National Sponsors will have activation areas, Press Center. Public concession locations.

Beaver Creek Village: Event Registration/accreditation & coaches meetings occur in the Park Hyatt BC. BC Village hosts multiple public special events during après & night time windows.

Avon: “Après in Avon” will occur daily from 1:30 – 5pm with music, entertainment, food & drink sales, performance art, animation & excitement.

Solaris Plaza in Vail: Location for Awards Ceremonies, Public Bib Draws, Vail Après and headliner concerts all take place at this venue.

SPONSORSHIP BREAKDOWN SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES  Seven (7) International Sponsors will receive the bulk of the global branding rights. These include Audi, Longines, J Lindeberg, Deichmann, and Milka Chocolate.  Eight (8) National Sponors will receive the bulk of the domestic media benefits along with robust on-site activation platforms. These will likely include large brands like Korbel Champagne, GoPro, PowerShares QQQ & Bank of America.  Fifteen (15) Official Supplier sponsors will receive custom packages which include the rights to use event marks for merchandising efforts.
