2015 Youth Foundation Development Packet

Page 1

Founded in 1997, The Youth Foundation elevates the educational experience in Eagle County by providing art, athletic and academic opportunities to empower children, families, and teachers in the Vail Valley. The Youth Foundation currently serves over 3,800 students and helps create success for every child. In January of 2012, the Youth Foundation merged with the Vail Valley Foundation to collectively offer more effective and efficient programming to children in our community. As a result, we continue to broaden our reach and expand learning opportunities for children and families in Eagle County. With your help, learning does not have to be limited to the classroom. Your support enables us to offer opportunities for families who cannot afford enrichment and additional academic resources for their children. Your investment equips students with what they need to reach their highest potential.

Our Mission The Youth Foundation elevates Education, Arts and Athletics for the youth of Eagle County through our programs in early childhood, K-12 and higher education. We provide youth development and education programming for over 3,800 kids from cradle to career.

We believe... that a child’s economic status does not determine his or her destiny.

We believe... that in collaboration with the community, we will raise the educational level of all children in the Vail Valley.
