Scheduled for February 2-15 of 2015, the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Vail and Beaver Creek will mark the third time that the Vail Valley has played host to this prestigious international event, recalling fond memories of the 1989 and 1999 World Championships. These Championships once again represent a unique opportunity for everyone around the Vail Valley to come together for the common good. They signal a rallying point for not only Vail and Beaver Creek, but also for Colorado, as well as the stateâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s mountain resort communities. In a similar vein, these will be U.S. World Championships, not only from the perspective of the U.S. Ski Team serving as the home team, but also a common ground to celebrate OUR Championships.

That is why YOU are so important to the success of 2015. Individuals are going to make difference. People like you, who truly believe in our young athletes and helping them achieve their full potential, are critical members of our team. The 2015 World Championships will last for two weeks, but our overarching goal is to leave a lasting legacy through having hosted this great event. We want the benefits of these Championships to live on through the lives that we have touched and the inspiration we have provided long after the FIS flag is lowered at Closing Ceremonies.
