Each summer, the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail is a community gathering place centered around world-class entertainment. Featuring lively concerts, renowned dance, laugh-out-loud comedy and more, The Amp hosts an array of cultural and entertainment offerings from May through September. With the Gore Range to the east and Vail Mountain to the west, The Amp occupies a unique and cherished place not only in Colorado, but the world. It’s a place where locals and visitors come together and raise a toast to the beauty of a day wellspent in the Rocky Mountains while cultivating connections that make this such a strong, vibrant community. The 2,800capacity venue provides artists and guests with a uniquely Colorado setting to experience their favorite artists.
The Amp serves as the premiere, permanent outdoor venue in the Vail Valley and provides state-of-the-art facilities, permanent concessions areas that provide full food & beverage service, first-rate artist accommodations, diverse programming and various ticket purchase options including covered pavilion seating and general admission lawn seating. The Amp is located within the Town of Vail and is operated by the Vail Valley Foundation. Ford Amphitheater had been operated by the nonprofit organization, Vail Valley Foundation for over 30 years and has seen countless artists grace its stage. The Vail Dance Festival is a two-week celebration of exceptional artistry.
