ADDITIONAL UNDERWRITING OPPORTUNITIES Ambassador Program

Designed for 8th–12th grade students. Ambassadors act as stewards to the Festival working to spread the word and educate the community about Festival programming. Similar to the Internship Program, Ambassadors gain experience and knowledge of the arts and arts administration and participate in a community service project. $15,000 // Generously Underwritten by Barbara Scrivens, LIV Sotheby’s International Realty

Internship Program

Each year, the Festival engages ambitious graduate and undergraduate students to serve as members of the Festival team, working to support the key areas of the Festival operations. These experiences offer an immersive opportunity to gain experience and knowledge of the arts and arts administration from some of the world’s greatest dancers, choreographers, and artistic leaders. $25,000

Festival Master Class Series

The series offers dancers the opportunity to learn from Festival artists in a wide variety of dance styles including ballet, choreography, tap, jazz and more. The 2021 Festival had nearly 500 participants and featured classes instructed by Tiler Peck, Calvin Royal III, Melissa Toogood, Caili Quan, Justin Peck and others. Another robust series will be presented this summer. $10,000

Volunteer Thank You Party

Volunteers play a critical role through their assistance on the transportation team, ushering, and more. Volunteers collectively donate 2,500 hours of their time. Help us celebrate their commitment by contributing to our end of Festival party. $3,000

Conversations on Dance

Conversations on Dance is a podcast series that comes to the Festival each year to record episodes live in front of a small audience. These in-depth discussions with Festival dancers, musicians, and choreographers are hosted by Michael Sean Breeden and an array of guest hosts. Individual episode and series underwriting opportunities are available. $15,000 // Generously Underwritten in part by Town of Vail

Watching Dance with Heather Watts

Legendary Balanchine ballerina Heather Watts shares her time in an interactive exploration of dance repertory through video footage and live demonstrations with Festival Artists. Underwriting this special educational event helps provide complimentary tickets to Eagle County students.

Enhanced Audience Visibility at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater

By framing the Amphitheater stage with new wings and lighting towers, our onstage infrastructure project aims to enhance sight lines for audience members seated in Sections 1 & 4. The project will increase the visibility of both the garden backdrop and artists that are upstage while providing sufficient offstage space for performers. New wings also aims to improve the overall viewing experience for the audience by better matching the beautiful amphitheater environment in size, color and texture. $50,000

Community Arts Access

The Festival partners with cross-sector community organizations including nonprofit, educational, religious, governmental, and other agencies to distribute free tickets to each of the world-class performances throughout the course of the Festival. We also offer free lawn tickets to children 12 and under and discounted lawn tickets for students and faculty. Furthermore, we dedicate the Dance for $20.22 performance as an evening devoted to arts accessibility by capping ticket prices at $20.22 for pavilion seats and $10.22 for lawn seats. Community Arts Access underwriters make a direct impact on our community by making the Arts accessible to all. $90,000

Two Tented Rehearsal Studios

With 12 performances, including 8 new works that are made specifically for the Festival, rehearsal space is vital for dancers and musicians. Tented Rehearsal Studios are placed at the base of Golden Peak and host classes and rehearsals daily throughout the Festival — these spaces are the creative laboratories where many of the commissioned World Premieres come to life. $75,000

Hospitality

Help fuel the Festival by contributing to the cost of food and beverages for artists and staff. These meals foster community and help spark the creativity and connection that only comes with breaking bread together. • Daily artist lunches at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater and Vail Mountain School • Dancer and staff post-performance dinners • Artist hospitality backstage and in rehearsal spaces • Behind-the-scenes production staff food $100,000
