Please attach a typed personal statement of a minimum of 400 and no more than 500 words. Describe your educational and career goals. Show examples of hours you spend per month participating in extracurricular activities, Valencia Volunteers and any community service you have performed. If participation has been limited, please describe any limitations, family responsibilities, work responsibilities, etc. Tell us about the organizations AND CLUBS you are involved in, positions held. Include any honors or awards received. Describe the impact you believe education and volunteerism have had and will have on your life. If you have chosen a career or field of study, please explain how that will affect your future. Two signed letters of recommendation are required. At least one letter must be from a Valencia faculty or staff member. An official college transcript is required. An official transcript is one issued from the Admissions office in a sealed envelope that includes grades from all postsecondary institutions. The transcript is considered unofficial if opened. Transcripts must be ordered in advance. Applicants must have completed at least 9 credit hours at Valencia College.
