Career Staff Employees Welcome to Valencia Community College. As a Career Staff employee, you are automatically a member of the Career Staff Association (CSA). The CSA provides an opportunity to voice your opinions on any issues or concerns you may have (positive or negative) to improve your working environment. What Is Our Objective? Address employee concerns. Provide staff development opportunities. Provide community outreach opportunities. Open lines of communication between the staff and the college. What Is Our Purpose? Promote the welfare of the career staff employees and the College as a whole. Act as a liaison between career service employees and the Governing Councils and Administrative of the college. Address and represent the concerns of the career service employees in matters of common interest. Provide representatives to serve on the Collegewide councils and committees. Assist in the development of college policies and operational procedures. Make recommendations on policies and procedures. Who Are Our Representatives? Each campus/center is represented by a Chair and Co-Chair that serve on The Career Staff Leadership Association (CSLA). The CSLA meets bi-monthly to discuss campus/collegewide concerns and facilitate discussions that reflect solution-oriented resolutions. How Do I Become Active in the Staff Council? 1.
