Valencia Transcripts High school seniors can request, in progress Valencia transcripts, until February 15. Transcript requests are processed through your atlas account under the registration tab. Atlas account; registration tab; select Transcript, Grades, Holds; Request official transcripts; follow prompts to look up school code; select “as soon as possible” ($3 fee). February 15th – a hold is placed on Valencia transcripts for all Dual Enrollment students that are seniors in High School. Upon graduation, the student must submit to Valencia an official high school transcript showing the high school graduation date. When the high school transcripts have been received, the transcript hold will be released and the students Valencia transcripts will be accessible through their Atlas account. How do I get my Valencia credits transferred to my new college? Credits are transferred through official transcript requests from Valencia to the receiving institution. It is the student’s responsibility to process the transcript request, through their Atlas account, following high school graduation. Requesting official Valencia Transcripts following high school graduation: 1. Release Transcript Hold - Upon graduation, the student must submit to Valencia an official high school transcript showing the high school graduation date. You can have the high school send a transcript to Valencia or bring high school transcript with posted graduation date, in a sealed envelope to any Valencia campus Answer Center. When high school transcripts are received, Valencia will release student’s transcript hold. 2. Request Official Transcripts - After the transcript hold has been released from your account, you can request transcripts through your Atlas account, under the Registration tab ($3 fee for transcript requests). * All DE courses should be reflected on your High School transcripts. Most colleges/universities do not require DE students to provide Valencia transcripts for admissions purposes. If you are being evaluated as an AA transfer student and Valencia transcripts are required after February 15, please contact the DE department. What if I plan to continue at Valencia after high school graduation? Dual Enrollment students do not need to re-apply to Valencia because you are already considered a Valencia student. You will need to bring the following information to a Valencia Answer Center (any campus): 1. High School Transcripts - Following your high school graduation, bring official high school transcripts to Valencia. 2. Change of Program form. 3.
