Baila
Grzybowska 60
Feeling extravagant and exotic, and featuring no shortage of palm fronds, Asian woods and backlit fish adorning the walls, Baila promotes itself as the first concept in Poland to fuse showtime with dinner! Bar-top dancers, acrobats, vocalists, you name it – Baila’s celebratory spirit is positively infectious.
Madame Q
Burdzińskiego 5/24
In the best burlesque tradition, Madame Q feels a little covert and ‘in the know’. Evoking an air of inter-war Paris, the luscious design pairs perfectly with inventive house cocktails and a schedule starring performers such as Betty Q, Lily Frou and Red Juliette. Intimate and atmospheric, it’s ideal for a night with a twist.
Worek Kości
Bagatela 10
Chaton
Foksal 19
How does Warsaw’s 1% spend the weekend? The answer can be found in Chaton, a lavish multi-faceted project that bills itself as a dinner-show club. In essence, that translates to find food and wines served whilst world class stage performers prance about whilst revelling in the bosom of refined luxury.
There is nothing ordinary about Worek Kości and it could as easily earn a place on this list for its décor (over 400 replica skulls) as it could its burlesque entertainment program. Instead though, those amusements are edged out by their regular roster of lectures on criminal profiling, forensics, serial killers and execution methods. It’s a passionate celebration of the beautiful and bizarre.
