2 Spots for Snow Fun!

Hill Snow 2 Oak Play Area On the site of what was once an old alpine ski area, this snow popular play spot offers two sledding runs–a short run for beginners and a long, steep one for experienced sledders. This is a free snow play area, so it’s best to check the weather conditions for adequate snowfall in Williams, AZ before you make the trek there. Sledders must bring their own gear,

but just keep in mind that the Kaibab National Forest prohibits metal and wood sleds. Restrooms and a warming shelter are located at the bottom of the hills, along with a fire pit and picnic tables. Info www.fs.usda. gov/recarea/kaibab/ recarea/?recid=43348
