pring harkens the singing of frogs, warming temperatures, and gardeners dreaming of where to put all the new plants they just have to have this year. If this scene speaks to you, then SpringFest at Woodward Park is an event you won’t want to miss. The annual SpringFest garden market is one of the largest educational events hosted by the Tulsa Garden Center each year, and the longest running garden market in the state. Celebrating our 67th year, SpringFest will be held Friday, April 8 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and Saturday, April 9, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Linnaeus Teaching Garden and adjacent Arboretum, highlighting two of Woodward Park’s treasured spaces. Some of our more popular plant vendors returning this year include Up With Trees, A New Leaf, Colebrook Nursery, Dotson’s Produce, Tobi’s Cacti & Succulents, Amanda’s Greenhouse, Across Generations, Chaos Cactus, McClain’s Flowers, Duck Creek Farms and Southern Plant Farms. “The variety of plants this year will be amazing!” said Stephani Freeman, SpringFest event coordinator. And don’t miss our newest plant vendors joining us this year, including Prairie Wind Nursery, Sun Hill Nursery and Tulsa Rare Plant Emporium. Euchee Butterfly Farm and Yard by Yard will also be attending, providing unique information on sustainable gardening practices which benefit pollinators. We are also excited to welcome
