Broken Arrow’s Annual Taste of Summer Ice Cream Festival!

July 24, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Guests can expect all of the usual favorites, including all-you-can-eat ice cream, fantastic local live entertainment, activities for the kids, food trucks, vendors and new this year, a Get Active Zone, sponsored by Camp Gladiator! This ever-popular festival is hosted by the Broken Arrow Chamber, in partnership with Blue Bell Creameries, 1 800 Water Damage, and the City of Broken Arrow. Tickets are $5 each in advance online, $7 at the gate, Blue Bell ages 2 and under are free. and it is their passion to give back to this community,” said Amber Hinkle, Broken Arrow Chamber Event Manager. “They know how much the Broken Arrow community supports them and they donate all of the ice cream for this absolutely amazing fun, family event.” Many of the volunteers for the event are employees of Blue Bell as well. The newly added Get Active Zone sponsored by Camp Gladiator will provide fun activities for kids, including soccer, jumping rope, bike riding and other sports, to help youth find active and healthy interests they can connect with. “We highly encourage you to eat all the ice cream you want, but we also know it’s super important to keep our kids and ourselves active,” said Amber. Pics with Police will give everyone an opportunity to mingle with the Broken Arrow PD, and view the new police cars that will be on display. “You might catch one of the officers and get a quick selfie with them!” Amber said. Taste of Summer is one of many festivals in Broken Arrow, enriching the lives of the citizens that live there, and encouraging people from all over to visit.
