Mullin Is a Mainstay “The Red Rooter” is still going strong after 40 years of service to Oklahomans. By Duane Blankenship Mullin Plumbing has been serving Oklahomans for 40 years with offices in Broken Arrow and Oklahoma City. In 1998, “The Red Rooter” tag was adopted and the company is today the largest business of its type in the state of Oklahoma. Home and commercial service and drain and sewer service divisions provide hot water heaters, sinks, faucets, toilets, bathtubs, sprinkler systems, septic installations and shower pans, as well as bathroom

and kitchen remodels, re-pipes, hydro-jet service, electronic leak locators, video inspections, garbage disposals, gas lines and slab leaks. They also provide services for French drains, reroutes, replacements, washer lines, kitchen lines, lateral lines, floor drains, toilets and new line installations. The 8th annual Bouncing BBQ Dinner will benefit the Salvation Army’s youth programs in Broken Arrow on Friday, March 1. “Surceé has always had a great variety of gifts and home décor, but now we are offering furniture, lighting, mirrors, rugs and artwork,” shared Kristen. “It’s really exciting to help customers find everything they need to create a personal look all in one place.” Regular Surceé shoppers know that owner Laura Sanders doubled the size of the store last fall and that extra space is filled with beautiful furniture lines, available in a variety of fabrics. They also offer custom-ordered furniture in a smaller selection of fabrics. The team has been featured on the CBS Morning Show and travels around the country entertaining and encouraging youth to work hard and stay drug-free. Kaleb Summers, the Oklahoma Noodling Champion, will be available all three days of the expo to conduct seminars, share his experiences, and meet and greet the public. “You don’t want to miss any of Kaleb’s presentations - his outdoor adventures are exciting for sure,” says Dell Davis of the Claremore Chamber. Summers, a Claremore native, was part of the “2012 Okie Noodling Tournament” champion team. The Dog Creek Outfitters will also be on hand to share their culinary skills with original chuck wagon cooking demonstrations. Somehow, though, the patient’s insurance company was accidentally billed by the lab for the procedure and a detailed statement was sent to the patient. The matter was rectified quickly, and neither he nor the insurance company had to pay any further costs. However, both Dr. Tate and the patient were amazed by how all the channels involved with an insurance payment had increased the cost of the lab work dramatically: the price went from $60 to $400.
