CHEERS TO BARD! The Vancouver International Wine Festival is proud to have Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival as its charitable beneficiary. Since 1979, VanWineFest has raised $9.8 million for the performing arts, including $1.8 million towards the outstanding work Bard does onstage and in the community.

The Bacchanalia Gala Dinner + Auction is one of the most spectacular food & wine events in Vancouver, and features one of the most exclusive wine auctions in North America. The Gala – along with the rest of VIWF 2021 – could not go ahead this year due to the pandemic. Instead, the Auction was reinvented to become a virtual experience that still celebrated and provided access to outstanding wines and wine experiences.
