SCHOOL AGE CARE
Learning through Play at Vance SAC
At the School Age Care facility, we provide numerous hands-on projects that engage children while also helping them learn. Youth regularly explore variety of themes through our activities and guided lesson plans. Structural stability is tested through strawtower competitions and lego building. The mixing of textures and colors is explored through painting club. Children delve into STEM experiments with build-your-own zip line lessons. And life cycles are explored with our 4H curriculum with our summer garden which turned into making luffa soap and chicken hatching events.
