Oregon Repertory Singers Youth Choir Opens Branch in Vancouver
Burnt Bridge Creek Elementary music teacher of 10 years, and mother of three, Amberlynn Lane, is fulfilling a lifelong dream by helping kids reach theirs. She is the director of the newly formed Clark County chapter of Oregon Repertory Singers Youth Choir. Rehearsals launched in February, with the first performance scheduled for June 5 at St. Pilip Neri Catholic Church in Portland (the choir is secular, but does utilize church space for some performances and rehearsals). Kids ages 5-13 are encouraged to participate, regardless of experience. “There is no audition, everyone is welcome,” Lane says. “That’s because our mission includes music education and growing a love for singing continued on next page
