Featuring a tuneful high-energy score, plenty of great parts for kids, and a hilarious script, “Bye Bye Birdie” remains one of the most popular shows in schools across the country. Love Street Playhouse presents “Lend Me a Tenor” at 126 Loves Ave., Woodland. On a historic night in 1934 at the Cleveland Opera company, world-famous tenor Tito Merelli is to perform in “Pagliacci.” Through a series of hilarious mishaps, Tito receives a double dose of tranquilizers, causing the general manager to believe he is dead and setting off a chain reaction of slapstick and mistaken identity.
