EMPLOYMENT REPORT
F R I E N D S A N D A S S O C I AT ES O F VA N D E R B I LT B U S I N ES S : We are pleased to present the Vanderbilt Master of Marketing Class of 2023 Employment Report. In this program’s seventh year, we are thrilled to report outstanding employment outcomes again, with 90% of job-seeking graduates having secured a full-time or internship offer within 6 months of graduation. These strong results are a testament to our resilient students amid a challenging job market. Diverse employment outcomes: From digital marketing agencies to media/ entertainment to real estate to healthcare, the Vanderbilt Master of Marketing Class of 2023 brought their marketing expertise to a wide range of industries. While many graduates took on roles that align with traditional functional paths—such as digital marketing, sales, and public relations—the Class of 2023 also demonstrated remarkable versatility and ventured into non-traditional realms. Notably, graduates pursued data analytics and operations roles, adding depth and diversity to the program’s legacy. Alumni partners: We continue to be grateful to our alumni partners as a driving force behind our students’ success. A loyal and accessible alumni network is essential in today’s competitive job market, and that is exactly what the Vanderbilt Master of Marketing degree offers. Our alumni consistently engage with our students and each other, not only sharing job opportunities, but assisting with interview preparation, networking, and so much more. Twenty percent of Vanderbilt Master of Marketing offers for the Class of 2023 came through alumni and faculty referrals. Changes at Owen: In addition to the opening of a beautifully updated Management Hall, 2023 also brought changes in the Career Management Center staff. In June 2023, Zeke Arteaga became the new Vanderbilt Master of Marketing lead coach, while Kathleen Rall transitioned to an MBA coaching role at Owen, supporting students in marketing and tech. Zeke brings with him a rich background in both corporate and university recruiting, which will be a great benefit to our students. We are incredibly proud of the Vanderbilt Master of Marketing Class of 2023. Through their determination and early engagement with the Career Management Center, the graduates achieved exceptional success and have already begun giving back to the Class of 2024. It is our pleasure to serve the program and witness the ongoing success of its students. Sincerely, Kathleen Rall Associate Director | Career Management Center Vanderbilt University | Owen Graduate School of Management
