Always resilient, she never backs down from a challenge. After graduating from Harvard with a degree in government and Afro-American studies, Alneada Biggers enlisted in Teach for America. She spent two years teaching kindergarten to ESL students in Houston—and in her spare time, also earned a degree in education. Able to adjust easily to new challenges, Alneada then decided to attend law and business school simultaneously. Invested in a consulting career, she chose a Vanderbilt MBA because the program aligned with her interests and offered a clear understanding of both legal and business solutions. She was also attracted to Vanderbilt’s collegial atmosphere: here she got to know her classmates and engaged with professors who are leaders in the field.
