Welcome to the Van der Valk Hotel Berliner Ring Dear guests, thank you very much for your interest in our Hotel Berliner Ring. We would like to present you our house on the following pages. Our aim is to give you the best overview of the hotel and its various possibilities. The Hotel Berliner Ring belongs to the Van der Valk Group, a Dutch family company, which was established in May, 1995. In November 1995, it was officially declared open by Dr. Burkhard Dreher, the minister of trade and commerce of the Land Brandenburg. Jan, representative of the fourth generation of the Van der Valk family, run the hotel true to the motto of his great-grandparents: �Good food and beverage for good value�. The hotel offers 265 comfortable furnished rooms and luxury juniorsuites, first-class gastronomy with regional and internatioal cuisine, a cosy Havanna Bar, summer terraces, sauna, fitness, tennis and golf in the nearby golf course of Gross Kienitz. Cosiness and elegance characterises the style of the house. In an exquisite ambiance of hamonic light and decent warm colours the four-star hotel offers quality of life and home decor. The hotel, conveniently situated at the A 10 and the B 96, combines all attributes of a decent domicile for seminar and congress guests, those who are on business trips and locals, all under one roof.
Congress & Event Center
Due to its favourable location with excellent public transport connections, the Van der Valk Hotel Berliner Ring has proven to be worthwile for congresses and events. We enriched our house with 2.500 square metres of space for fairs, conferences and congresses as well as for cultural events and ceremonies. 18 multifunctional rooms from 30 to 750 square metres offer space for up to 800 people. In case you have further questions or need individual information please do not hesitate to contact our banquetting department. We would be glad to help you: Monday - Friday from 9.00 a.m. till 5.00 p.m. On weekends, please contact the front office.

Room Categories and Rates The hotel comes with over 265 comfortable double rooms and suites – equipped with telephone, sat-TV, W-Lan, safe, bath room with separate bath tub and shower as well as balcony or terrace. The highlight of the hotel is the newly built appartement-suite. This means 103 sqm pure pleasure of residence: designer furniture, a luxury kitchen, chill-out terrace and a gorgeous bath room to relax and enjoy!

All rates include our extensive breakfast buffet and legal VAT. For our hotel guests use of our swimming pool, sauna and car park are free of charge.
Gastronomy
In our atrium, bathed in light from above, our guests can start the day with the extensive breakfast buffet from 6.30 a.m. - 10.30 a.m. For non-residents we charge 15,00 Euro per person per breakfast. For lunch and/or for dinner we serve international and regional specialities, from 11.30 a.m. - 11.30 p.m. From 5.30 p.m. - 1.00 a.m. We recommend our cosy Havanna Bar - awarded as Habanos Smokers Lounge - for an aperitif or a night-cap. It goes without saying that also non-residents are welcome in our restaurant and Havanna Bar.
Shuttle Service
If you arrive by aeroplane or train, we will be happy to collect you from the airport or station with our house shuttle. The Van der Valk Hotel Berliner Ring avails of a shuttle bus which transports max. 7 persons. We recommend timely reservation. Information on definite offers and rates directly at the reception desk on tel. 033708-580. For bigger groups we can charter suitable buses. Please turn to our banquet and event department for definite offers and rates. -3-

Fitness, Wellness, Sports After business or sportive action, a little relaxation in the hotel sauna with steam bath is just the right thing. A rental bathrobe, towels and bathing shoes are available. In our fitness centre you can keep your muscles in shape or simply enjoy active relaxation after a hard day’s work.
Swimming Pool
Our swimming pool measuring 16 meters x 8 meters was set up. Here, our guests at no charge have to relax and swim as long as their hearts desire. Afterwards, maybe you feel like having a drink in the Havanna Bar or a bite to eat in our restaurant.
Adventure Playland
For our youngest guests we offer a playground with a little toy castle - a super place where the kids can play safely and let off steam to their hearts’ content. Inside the house we offer the kids an indoor-adventure playland, which is very popular and is much sought after by our little guests especially during the Sunday brunches.
Tennis
Our floodlit tennis court located on the hotel groundsis open for matches (almost) all year round. Tennisrackets and balls are available at the hotel reception, in case you need to borrow these.
Golf
The Gross Kienitz golf course is very close, only 3 kilometres away from the Van der Valk Hotel Berliner Ring. For tee-off, pitch and putt our guests can dispose of a driving range, a 9-hole and a 18-hole course. The Golf Club offers trial lessons for beginners, with favourable special conditions for our guests. Furthermore, we offer golf packages. Prices of our freetime offer can be asked at the hotel reception. -4-

Congress & Event Centre Capacities The Congress & Event Centre of the Hotel Berliner Ring offers space for events of all kinds with a total area of 2.500 square metres. It consists of 21 different rooms with an area of up to 750 square meters. The largest room and the foyer are passably. For accompanying exhibitions an additional area of 1.000 square metres is available in the foyer on the ground floor and on the upper floor. All rooms are equipped with ultra-modern technical equipment and large windows with bright daylight that can be dimmed by pushing a button. A room with fax, PC, colour printer, copying machine and WLAN can be used as an office or training room.

Climbing
The high rope garden offers a multiplicity of learning and experiencing situations. It consists of high and low elements. The low elements are appr. 40 centimetres and the high ones reach up to 12 meters of height.
Water Expeditions and Cycling in the Spreewald
After your arrival on the harbour of Lübbenau you will board a rowing boat led by a ferryman and go along the branched out channels and the unique “Spreewald Cucumber Mile”. Whether it is a birthday party, a wedding day, a baptism, a Christmas party or a company anniversary: We will find the suitable rooms for your event. Beginning with the right decoration through the catering and the cultural background of your celebration: We organize everything that you wish. In the appendix you will find special offers we have prepared for birthday parties, children’s birthday parties, weddings and company anniversaries. You are also always welcome to our restaurant- either for a sunday brunch or a candlelight dinner. You can find the dates at our events planner.
Getting Married and Celebrate: Everything under one Roof Lucky you! In one of our rooms we accommodate the register office of Blankenfelde-Mahlow, which makes it easy for you to celebrate your wedding in the rooms we prepared for you directly after the ceremony. We worked out 2 packages for you. Furthermore we compley with your wishes and make you an individual offer. The booking of a wedding packages for at least 20 persond include one night free of charge for the bride and groom in a suite (due to availability).
