Mother Goose for Korean Parents and Children Korean parents with children under age five are invited to share in the fun of learning nursery rhymes, songs and stories in Korean and English. Reading Buddies

Kids in French Immersion grades 1–6: improve your pronunciation, vocabulary, reading and comprehension.

Teens in grades 9–12 earn community service hours by helping kids in grades 1–4 become better readers.

Fluent French speakers in grades 8–12: earn community service hours while helping kids hone their language skills.

To join the Reading Buddies, fill in an application form— available at both branches and online at coqlibrary.ca—then submit it to the Help Desk at either branch no later than Wednesday, January 24.

Learn how to use the CloudLibrary app to find and download eBooks and eAudiobooks. Please bring your tablet or smartphone with you to the class.

Introduction to Green Screen

Learn how to customize a 3D printed object using browserbased 3D design software TinkerCAD. We will also do an orientation on the library’s 3D printers.

Use block coding to make our new Sphero robots move, light up and make noise. Students must bring their own Bluetooth enabled smartphone or tablet to download the free Sphero Edu app.

Using the magic of Photoshop, we will transform a photo of you against a green screen into a photo of you in front of the background of your choice. Bring your own smartphone or digital camera, or borrow ours.
