Start packing and purging in three phases - pack, donate, purge!
Minimize and declutter personal items and photos
Book organizer / packer if needed
Order light fixtures, hardware, and any other linked items within your plan
Book painter for our painting recommendations
Book handyman for repairs / installation of items recommended
Tidy and minimize closets
Clear off tops of all surfaces (dressers, side tables, etc )

First impressions are everything The exterior of the home is the first thing buyers will see when they pull up to view your property When buyers see that the outside has been cared for they already get a sense that the interior will be just as nice Make sure your grass is cut and leaves are blown Add mulch in front beds and additional landscaping where necessary

The more light, bright and spacious your interior the better The first step sellers should take in preparing their home for sale is to minimize and declutter the living spaces as much as possible
