Conference Program - July 12 –15, 2018 - Jacksonville, FL
“Fortifying the Foundation to Empower the Faces of Education” Greetings Fellow Educators! It is with a humble spirit and a grateful heart I welcome you to the 3rd Annual ROCK Conference. Just think, this all started from an idea! An idea to start a Facebook group has metamorphosed into a place and space where we as educators can share invaluable resources, uplift, support, and network. Each year I ask myself, “Wow, how are we going to top this year’s conference?”. Every year God answers that question, through YOU, our educators, vendors presenters, speakers, and sponsors and the conference improves exponentially! I often state that this work is God ordained and for this organization to become what it is purposed to be, we must recognize and embrace the reality “there’s strength in numbers,” in order for us to actualize God’s plan. We must continue to not only come together annually for a conference, but we must begin to unify and consolidate our resources and talents in order to reestablish our field as one of the most respected professions in society. I know through this work, we can and will accomplish our goal! In closing, I would like to offer my sincere and heartfelt gratitude to our keynote & featured speakers, who get paid to do what they do, but out of their belief in our organization, are donating their services. I would also like to thank our presenters, panelists, attendees, and vendors for attending. I promise each and every one of you, you will leave the ROCK conference reignited and fired up for the upcoming school year and beyond!
