I have been working with the McLeod Lake Indian Band membership for three weeks and have enjoyed the community and the job very much. As a counsellor, with my office located in the Band Office building, I offer personal, drug and alcohol, and clinical couselling to Band members and employees. Prior to working with the McLeod Lake Indian Band, I worked twenty years as a counsellor and adult education teacher with Prince George School District 57. I grew up in Kamloops but have lived in Prince George for the last twenty-two years. My wife and I have been married for thirty years, and we have one child, a fourteen-year-old boy. I appreciate the warm welcome I have received during my first three weeks, and I look forward to many years of working with the McLeod Lake Indian Band. Welcome Matt and we look forward to working with you throughout the year. Matt will be in the office from Monday to Thursday each week. You can reach Matt by telephone at 250-750-4415 or come by the office to introduce yourself. On Wednesday nights you can meet Matt at the Community Movie Nights and he is available for counseling service Wednesday nights.
